Otherwise there is a $60 fee for pickup. If you have appliances, you can get free appliance pickup if you have at least 1 working appliance.

Whether you have steel, copper or aluminum, we can assist you with free scrap metal pick up. Please read on to learn more about the requirements for scrap metal pick up in your city as we cannot accept scrap metal pickup loads that are not worth the trip.
- Steel (iron) This is the cheapest form of metal that we accept, therefore in order to qualify for free scrap metal pick up, you must have a considerable amount of this type of metal. If you can muster up at least 400 pounds of steel then you can get free scrap metal pick up.
- We can accept all types of steel in any shape form or fashion. The more the better. Steel is easy to notice since it will rust fairly easily. To test for steel, you can apply a magnet to the material. If the magnet sticks on contact then you have steel. The heavier amount of steel the better. We cannot pick up just a small amount of steel.
- Motors: If you have a lot of electric motors, we can arrange for free scrap metal pickup if you have enough weight to make the trip worth while. Just two or three motors is not enough scrap metal to qualify for free scrap metal pick up. Motors can be in any shape or size also.
- Appliances: You must have at least 1 working appliance in order to get free appliance pickup. We can pick up all makes and models of appliances just as long as they are major appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, stoves and ranges of all kinds including restaurant grills and deep fryers.
Dishwashers
- Please note that a dishwasher cannot be picked up unless it is accompanied by another major appliance. This is to ensure that the trip to recover the scrap metal will be worth it.
- Copper: Copper can be accepted as long as you have at least 20 pounds. This includes copper pipes, tubing, wires and other copper bearing items that clearly reveal the inherent copper. You can also contact us for copper extraction if you have many water heaters that need to be removed. In this case we can also accept the water heaters as scrap metal.
- Brass: Brass is also accepted in the same manner as copper. Brass does not have to be cleaned of polished in order for it to be accepted. We take all types of brass objects that you may have laying around your home. Just make sure that you have at least 30 pounds of Brass that is not stolen or came from a questionable source.
- Stainless steel. Stainless steel can be picked up for free as long as you have a considerable amount. Call to find out more about any of these metals to make sure that you qualify for free pick up in your city.
- Aluminum: Aluminum Can be a fairly light metal depending on what type you have. Please be sure that you have a considerable amount of aluminum that will make that trip worth while for free scrap metal pick up. All types of aluminum is accepted.
- Batteries: You can get all of your batteries picked up for free if you have a good amount of batteries that will make the trip worth while going to get. Fluids do not have to be removed from car batteries. Cars batteries can also be dead.
- Other metals that are accepted are Titanium, Magnesium, Nickel, Silver, Lead, Zinc and tin. If you have a certain type of metal and you are not sure what kind of metal it is then you can still fill out the form and we can assist you in identifying the metal.
